Shot in auto mode, with my 18-135 mm lens at 26 mm, f 3.9; exp 1/125; it's just a funny thing in the middle of the same little park with the fish. By the way, does anybody want to be tagged? I'm finding my usual circle to be pretty exhausted for "tag" possibilities, but I don't want to harass anybody with this. If you're interested, just tell me in your comment. The details about my being tagged are at
My Pixelated Oasis blog.

Wow...this is awesome, and its a weird sculpture. Do you know what it represents?
Hi Mandy! I really don't know if it represents anything, but now you've got me curious! (Funny that it never occurred to me to wonder before this!)
nice shot and made me wonder the same thing!
Interesting sculpture! You got a nice shot of it, too.
Definitly interesting. Great capture. Whats tagged? lol.. Toni
Interesting sculpture. It is really cool.
You really can't say your town is boring. Just the quirky art alone makes it not so. :-)
That's a great photo of a totally weird sculpture!
YOu have the most interesting pieces of public art in your small (right?) town! I would love to see some close-ups of this piece, focusing on the angles and geometry. You could get some really abstract looking shot. So cool!!
OMG - you live in Grand Forks!!?? So do I!! I opened the picture and screamed because someone else is from HERE!!!
what a weird sculpture, but well done! i do love your shot of it, too!
i'm looking at the rest of the art in your blog and i'm thinking "does she live in Alaska?!?"
i never realized how unique alaska's art really is...
i used to live there so i'm just curious if it is Alaska or if some of the artwork dribbled down into the states :)
Shannon, Debbi will so appreciate your thinking we live in Alaska, because here in GF we always here how beautiful Alaska is. . . compared to here! Debbi, I can't believe you live here! Especially since practically nobody in the whole wide world lives here! I hope we can meet. . . And I hope you don't take offense at some of my grumblings about GF, which i just basically enjoy doing!
